I don't think you can "prevent" them. they're veins, everyone has them. for some reason they've just become more visible, but it happens so don't worry it is normal! you can always try covering it with concealer.

I think you are talking about broken capillaries. I have them on the sides of my nose also. From the research I've done, they may be caused by cleansing too vigorously. Do not exfoliate where you have them, it can make them worse. Unfortunately once you have them I think only some kind of laser treatment will help. No creams or anything.

Its broken capillaries, I have them too, they are very common they come from over exfoliation and are often hereditary
