Have decided to ask for a makeup book for my birthday, the trouble is I don't know which...!!?
I want simple&stunning advice and tips and tricks that are modern and relevant, but as I'm looking into the MUA route eventually I'd love some helpful info for older skin types and different face/eye shapes too. I'm quite a visual person but I do like plenty of detail in written information.
So which books would u swear by as your beauty bible and which do u wish you'd never bought? all your opinions welcome!!
thanks makeup lovers :)

Kevin Aucoin and Bobbi Brown since both work on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to makeup artistry.

Face to Face by Scott Barnes. He's Kim Kardashian's MUA. He's amazing on contouring.

have any of you tried finding these books at libraries? I'd like to go check but I don't want to waste my time.

I've tried, my libraries don't stock anything like that, read loads of reviews on amazon etc but I have a bit more faith in the beautylish community ;-)
