I found blending hard in the beginning so I stop using those hard brushes and switched to using four blending/ crease/ fluffy brushes for everything! Blends as it goes and makes everything so much easier.

Flat brushes for applying intense colour and cut creases. Fluffy brushes for applying soft colour and blending. But bear in mind if you like using a particulal brush to create a certain look (even if its not the conventional way to do it) and it works for you then it really doesn't matter.

Use a flat brush to pack on colour an a fluffy blending brush to blend. The mac 217 is amazing it's a bit pricey but so worth it it makes putting on eyeshadow so much easier and gives a really great effect!
