Revlon PhotoReady primer! It smells bad and feels all crumbly. It made my foundation slide off my face lol.

Revlon photo ready bb cream. I love the foundation but the bb is greasy. I couldn't even use it as a moisturizer under makeup. it made all my foundations look cakey and break up within an hour or less. just yuck.

Well Karen I'm in love with avons magix cover up...with all the makeup I do its the only one I found that keeps my face looking good even when I splatter special fx designs on top and its also on the cheaper side which I love BC I can spend the big bucks on all the crazy colors I use...and Bella Terra powders are a new fave...so many options! :D hope that helps c:

L'oreal Lumi foundation.
I have a BB cream by Lumene that works better, has vitamin c and and has better coverage nor does it get oily and settle into lines or fade through out the day.

Products I hate: any Maybelline pencil liner. They have no staying power, smudge like crazy, and aren't very pigmented. The Maybelline Dream Whipped Mousse foundation was awful; oxidized like mad and just generally had a greasy formula. I hated the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer, I feel like it didn't do anything for me and the sponge did a poor job of applying it. I don't like the Mac eyeshadows, most of the ones I've tried have been very chalky and not very pigmented. I'm sure there's more, I've tried a lot of makeup.

I have to say, I'm obsessed with the YouTube hits and misses videos but this is the first time I've seen this topic discussed here. there are so many options out there it can be quite overwhelming when choosing products. It's great to hear from other people what did and didn't work for them, but especially the DID NOT part. if the same product is mentioned over and over you know it's probably one to avoid. I hate spending money on products I just end up throwing away :( great topic Karen!

NARS illuminating gel in Laguna or Orgasm. They do NOT resemble the powder blushes at all and can be really greasy. Milani Mascaras - any of them, they clump and when flakes get into your eyes, something about the formula burns. Jordana felt tip liner. It dried out in under a month and you have to press down very hard to get a good line. In higher end makeup, the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre. This stuff gets EVERYWHERE. I also think it gives too much of a flat and matte look. It was a big waste of money for me.

On that note^ the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream sucked. Didn't provide coverage, made my face super oily and greasy (and I have dry skin so that's truly absurd).

- Revlon Colorstay (the consisteny is horrible, some are thick and some are watery and it made me break out really bad)
- L'Oreal True Match Concealer Crayon (I find it very chalky and it creases easily)
- Revlon Lash Potion Mascara (It barely coated my lashes and it would flake off like crazy)
- Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick (The worst lipstick I have ever tried. It made my lips so dry and cracked and it would settle into every little line on my lips)

Bobbi brown concealer and setting powder set. I hate it, its so cakey, sticky and impossible to blend. I tried everything to make this work, different brushes, my fingers, it just didnt work.

The revlon colorstay foundation... might be good for some people, but when I applied it, I looked like I worked for cake boss or somthing, and it looked horrible outside.

@Hanna I don't mind the Maybelline Dream line. Works fine for me. The Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer I didn't have a problem with. Um I didn't buy high end products so all mine are drugstore lets see, I found out the hard way Nutrogena cosmetics are kinda bad. I know there are more products I didn't like but I can't remember them.

MAC shadows do suck. I agree. Not much pigmentation at all. The only thing I really like from MAC are their lipsticks.

Wow Shauna you really didn't like the urban decay lippies? I love those lol but anyway some things I don't recommend
-tresemme dry shampoo, made my hair look powdery and didn't even help with the oil
- mac fluidline gel liner! Big no no it's not even a true black , the formula was great but I had to reapply several times to get it to look dark And to standout
That's all I can think of right now lol.

I guess different things work for different people. I'm also not a fan of Mac eyeliners (the pencils, I've never tried the gel), they're not pigmented, they don't go on smoothly, they're very easily broken and kinda dry for eyeliners.

Beauty Blender. I guess the 'wow' factor comes from if you aren't using a good foundation brush as is. I have the Tarte Airbrush foundation brush and I love it and it applies my foundation or tinted moisturizer flawlessly. The BB was good, but not good enough for me to stop using my Tarte brush, it eventually got taken back to Sephora.

Cover girl clean powder - made my face look like tan chalk lol
Lorac eyeliner - crumbled in less than 3 hours
Nyx matte lip cream - crumbled and looked horrible
Maybelline concealer - really chalky and awful coverage
Benefit bene tint - impossible to blend

I truly don't reccommend the loreal true match and the maybelline fit me... Just tuck.

@Cynthia haha yeah those lipsticks really didn't work well for me. I found them extremely drying and they settled into the lines in my lips even if I moisturized and exfoliated. I think that is the only makeup product I've actually had to return.
