I have scars on my face from acne that I've had and I was told that aloe Vera is good for the skin and scars so I was wondering if any of you had tried any aloe Vera products that were effective, or anything else that might help? Thank you.

Aloe Vera does work, but make sure it is pure. Also, lemon juice will help with scars, I'd try that if you could:)

I've used aloe vera. But I have the plant on my garden, I don't use any other ingredients. And yes it can help with scars but if it's very dark scars it's going to take time and you'll need to be consistent. I suggest a clay mask, that helped me with scars in the past and I still using it to control acne and clogged pores.

Lemon/lime is phototoxic to the skin so I would not use it. ( If it ruins your teeth enamel why would it be safe to put on the most sensitive part of your body? )
A typical clay or mud mask will help pulls the oils from your skin, rose hip oil is non comedogenic and great for scarring, as sulfur ointment also works well for scarring especially since it encourages cell turn over.

I would try rosehip oil or evening primrose oil. I'm also a big fan of aloe too.
