it's been some months now that I read posts on here, and I've even posted a few, asking questions. That is how I learned about Bobbi Brown foundation (thank you so much Jaqueline!).
I have a few other questions now. I think I need a makeover. My face looks sad and boring. I would like to change my hair, but not cut it. I'm thinking of doing ombré, but I'm not sure. In the photo, I dried my hair, otherwise it looks horrible, between frizzy and bad folds. I went to the hair dresser and asked about going curly but they said they didn't have the tools for my hair, so I gave up. Now I'm thinking of changing hairdresser. Let me know, what should I do with my hair? Could you post of few pictures that would suit me?
The other problem is with my brows/eyes. I have very full natural brows, unfortunately not a great shape. I would love an arch, but I don't have one. I think I could do one by plucking a lot and then doing my brows everyday but that sounds constraining. I'm not sure what/how to do it.
I have very deep-set eyes. In the next post I put a profile pic. So when I look at your pictures and tutorial, I cannot follow them, because there is no space between my lashes and brows. If I put mascara, my lashes touch my brows. If I put darker eye shadow, I look awful, not talking about pinky, I look like someone punched me in the eye. I don't know what kind of looks would suit me. Could you please post tips on how to apply eye shadow for my eye shape, and post pictures of eye makeup from someone with the same eye shape as me?
Thanks that would help me so much, I'm so frustrated with the way I look and the fact that I am not so skilled doesn't help either.

Maybe take some classes at a local womens center on confidence and self esteem.

That is far from a bad advice, thank you. Unfortunately I don't speak the local language of where I live, making this nearly impossible. I will pick up on my self esteem books again :)

Hun your beautiful but everyone likes to change it up sometime a change in hair color and wearing your makeup different might give you a new look but you look great now why don't you get a ombre or highlights just start out with a cat eye and mascara and a bold lip,and stop being so down on yourself we all have flaws but so what work what you have

Thanks, Traci. I would love to wear a bold red, but somehow I never managed to find a shade that would look great on me. Maybe you have advice? And some deep-set eye car eye pic? It's hard to put on eyeliner because my lids have so many folds.

Mac Russian Red is a great shade for your skin tone and I will look for some pics for you but you can go on you tube and follow along it's easier to actually see it.

Thank you Traci, Thank you Jennifer! that means much to me! I will try the cat eye and the courses. If I succeed I will post a pic. Btw, I now have make up forever aqua liner. The pigmentation suck, and it doesn't stay on well, dries up and cracks. Which eyeliner could you recommend?

You can try nyx felt tip liner it's like a pen and easy to use and last all day doesn't flake and its cheap best part lol.

Ombre hair would definitely look cute on you and probably help your self esteem a bit, just by a new color. You're gorgeous and like they said work with what you have =) I have a self esteem issue too and a bold hair color is always a fun start ;)

Thank you all. I will go and find the liner, and get a look at the Mac lipstick. I used to have bold red hair for many year, I can't now because of my work. Something more natural would be allowed.

You' re very pretty, Nathalie. No need to feel so bad about yourself, but like girls said, maybe some bold lip colour or winged eyeliner, just to make you feel better. You know that song 'sunscreen'? It's said there: 'Don't look at beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly'. and you are too sweet to feel ugly ;)

Hi first of all let me start off by saying you are soo pretty. about your brows...just get them waxed professionally to get your desired shape then you can keep up with it by plucking. when I first started using make up I went to a make up counter where they did my make up look while showing me how to apply the product myself. I would suggest the same get a basic look down pack then experiment and practice practice...you can also watch YouTube channels of how tool's aswell. I also have long lashes myself...soo I use mascara that just gives it volume not too much length since I do.t need that. I use maybelline volume xpress. good luck

These girls are SO right!! You are very beautiful!! I have the same eyes as you so I know what your going though! I'd love to rock winged liner as well & it never goes on right!! I'm going to be learning along side of you!! As far as your hair goes its beautiful! When you say you wanna change it up without cutting it, are you meaning you want it long? I'm asking if you'll be willing to get it cut in a style as long as the length is kept? Cause it would look SO pretty with long layers cut & a deep side parted bang!! You know that different haircuts & styles completely change the shape of a face. Like someone with a long face (like mine) then long straight, all one length hair makes the length of the face appear much longer!! I need layers around my face. You can Google (Haircuts for different face shapes) Believe it or not a hairstyles can be a total makeover without anything else!! Ill post a few hairstyles that you would look amazing on you...

I think you are naturally beautiful & don't really need to change anything, but we all get bored of our looks from time to time... I think if you had your eyebrows done professionally you would feel a lot happier with them, don't mess with them yourself as they're are not the easiest thing to shape :-)... Your hair looks lovely & thick, maybe get a new hairdresser and talk about new looks with them. And as for eyeliner, well we all struggle with that to start with (mine is never really good), but you need to practice & watching videos in here or YouTube will be really helpful. I think overall you need to aim for a sophisticated look & keep make up quite simple because like I said, you really are naturally beautiful..
