I normally have slightly acne prone combo skin. But since the start of last week my skin has been soooooo dry! I even switched to a more moisturizing cleanser and moisturizer! And now anytime I try to put anything on my face like moisturizer or aloe it burns! Help!

Same thing with me it's really irritating and my skin peels I can't even touch it so I stopped using my cleanser for two days and used a really good moisturizer with salicylic or any acne stuff in it cause that will irritate it more just get a normal one people with dry skin would get but not like too oily.. You get what I mean loll and then try slowly going back to your routine by using the cleanser only once a day at night and in the morning just wash it with water and apply moisturizer.. Even after it goes away always moisturize very good and don't scrub everyday and don't over use acne products cause that makes everything worse.. Anyways I hope it gets better good luck!!

Let your skin breathe at night and produce its own natural oils for a bit. You can actually suffocate your skin and make it worse. Also, try a chemical exfoliant once a week to help slough your skin. Glycolic acid is a really good one and it's non-abrassive. Look for one with a lower concentration to get your skin used to it first. Moisture is needed, but make sure to get one suited for sensitive skin and not so much acne cuz the medication in some acne moisturizers is extremely drying.
Anyways hope this helps. :)
