I get that when I have to break down cardboard for the bailer. I slather my hands with aquaphor before bed and sleep with socks on my hands (aquaphor is a little greasy/goopy). Works wonders.

I do book work mostly. I was wondering if I stop picking at it will it go away. I know it seems to get worst at first, but I never go very long without picking the dry skin off
