Corsets, advice please

I wear corsets occasionally, they can be uncomfortable to wear for a very long time, however you'll be fine wearing them for upto 6 hours at a stretch. My advice is that you strictly do not buy a corset online, the best way is to go to a store, try it for atleast 10 minutes before buying so you can get an idea of how they feel on you. Also, corsets do not permanently reshape the body, they can make a difference to how your body appears if you wear it for a very long period of time, like a decade or more, but once you stop wearing them, your natural shape will return. My grandmother was a fan and I have been wearing them mostly for style reasons not for reshaping since I was 13 but not regularly. Also, I would advice not to buy a verrrrry tight fitting one for health reasons, there are corsets with good quality lining that allow you to breathe while looking well fitted, my roomie had this dear Goth corset she bought from Europe and the wired lining was so uncomfortable, it drilled holes into her skin that bled one time.
