I've two questions related to the order of application...
On my eyelids I always use a shadow base/primer and concealer on my under eye area. I usually run a bit of the primer along the lower lash line as well. Well, I've seen some MUAs apply the primer/base under the eye as well. If I were to use both under the eye (lightly when I need a little extra help under there), what order do you suggest?
On my face I use primer after moisturizer (Smashbox original) and then my foundation (Tarte 12 hr Amazonian Clay), but with this harsh winter and being sick, I look a little flat. I've mixed in some of Smashbox illuminating serum with my foundation, but I think it sometimes changes the way the foundation sits and sets. So if not mixing in, would I use the illuminating serum before or after primer?
I know eventually I'll have to invest in new products for my changing skin, but $ is extremely tight right now and I need to work with what I have on hand.
Thank you in advance for your help! :)

Here's the order 1. moisterise 2. primer 3. concealer or foundation its personal choice which to usr first I like foundation first then conceal.
now as far as that serum goes I'm not familiar w it. if it is a true serum you would normally put that on first then follow w a moisturizer then primer. you could also try mixing it in w a moisturizer if your using it at night. don't mix it w an spf moisturizer though you don't want any interference w the sun protection.

Thank you, Danny. I think the illuminating serum is less of a true skincare/treatment serum and more of a liquid illuminator, hence my confusion. And thank you so much for your response-- you made perfect sense!

You don't need primer in the under eye area. That part of our skin is generally dry and adding primer would make it dryer.
