Is African Black soap supposed to make your skin feel tight?

I originally bought a bar of it to treat my back acne, but I know it gets raves over clearing up the face as well, but it made my skin get that "squeaky clean" feeling! I've heard that isn't a good thing and can dry your skin out.
I followed up with my moisturizer and my tea tree night blemish fade lotion.

Is this the same feeling you get when using this soap?

That's the same one I got. Shoot. :/ Well, I don't mind if my back feels tight if it clears it up!

The tea tree oil hasn't been drying me out. I've had it for a month. Its reducing pimple size and redness but not preventing new ones. :\

If your skin is dry any soap bar will cause the tight feeling.
