I really love mac expresso, it's a lovely color to wear on its on and I also use this color to fill in my brows and on the waterline. It is dark brown with a matte finish.

Those are pretty dark for transition shades in my opinion. NYX has a matte eyeshadow line and I've been obsessed with maybe later and underneath it all
