A few weeks ago I posted asking what foundation, primer, & setting powder I should get, but opted to leave the foundation until I could splurge on a great one..
well, the funds have come together, & I'm looking for amazing matte & dewy foundations. what do you ladies recommend??
I have normal skin type & prefer medium coverage foundations.

I find the loreal true match leaves me a a dewy finish, Personaly I really don't like dewy finish so I stoped using it m.

I love the urban decay naked skin foundation! its a slightly dewy, your skin but better kind of appearance. :)

I'm dry so I used mac mineralized foundation & loreal true match lumi as for mattes I agree with Sandra, Kat Von D lock it and Mac math master is hella matte cus it has no oils in it.

I think any foundation can look dewy with the technique you use.. I've found using a damp beauty blender gives me a dewy finish

Clinique stay matte foundation works brilliantly, it has a matte finish and you only need a tiny blob and lasts the whole day, it is quite expensive but totally worth the extra costs:)

I've seen the mod Jacqueline recommend both Estée Lauder double wear and Kat Von D, but that the double wear was easier to work with. As for dewy, NARS sheer glow and YSL touche éclat are recommended.

Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation gave me a really good dewy complexion. It's got the amount of coverage you're looking for too.

Kat Von D Lock It Foundation is incredible if you want a matte long wearing foundation! It covers everything! A great dewy foundation is Tartes Amazinian Clay. It goes a nice dewy look that isn't greasy or shiny. This also wears very well as lasts all day!

NARS sheer glow it doesn't come with a pump so if you want a pump you'll have to buy it separate. :)

I agree that it depends on application. I have a sigma F80 Flat Kabuki as well as a beauty blender. When I want dewy, I used the beauty blender...and when I want matte, I use the flat kabuki brush. Just tried Rimmel Stay Matte mousse foundation and I love it!
