My skin is really red and blemishy atm, I exfoliate two to three times a week and I moisturise every morning and night.. Recently my skin has become dry and flaky almost and stings?

Take a break from exfoliating or that might irritate the skin even more. Slather on some aloe vera gel and try a honey mask.

To remove blemishes doesn't always mean using creams/cleansers with drying properties. Things like cinnamon and honey will reduce blemish redness/size without drying/irritating the skin. :)

Last week the same thing happened to me. I slept with a humidifier on at night, and I bought the CeraVe moisturizing cream that everyone had been raving about and I swear to you- IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC. Usually things don't work like I need them too, but this did.

Plus it's available at your basic places and costs $15. Make sure it's the cream though.

Definitely stop with the exfoliating. That can be causing your acne as well as your dryness. Like Vanessa said, slather on that aloe vera. At night use a thick moisturizer, I like Cetaphil moisturizing cream. Hope all goes well! :)

Over exfoliation. I have psoriasis and my face is also very sensitive. Although excellent, First Aid Beauty's moisturizers sting on me. I use Cetaphil,, Philosophy's Purity or CeraVe to wash..pat dry gently and apply sweet almond oil. It soothes my skin while hydrating.
