I have really dry skin too especially because I have eczema. I finally found my skincare routine that keeps me really moisturized after I wash my face with the cetaphil gentle cleanser.
First, I apply aloe vera gel. Aloe vera gel attracts moisture and soothes the skin.
Next, I apply 2-3 layers of the cetaphil moisturizer in a tube. Any of the cetaphil moisturizers targeted for dry skin will be fine. I found that applying just one layer of any moisturizer is not enough for me so I apply one layer at a time, fanning my face with my hands between each layer so that it gets slightly absorbed before my next layer.
Then, I apply my nuskin sunscreen spf30 that contains vitamin e and vitamin a even at night because it nourishes the skin and repairs it. I strongly recommend you look through the nuskin line. All of their products impress me every time.
Finally, if that isn't enough or I feel like my face feels extra dry that day, I use an extremely tiny amount of petroleum jelly and rub it between both my middle fingers and dab them in my driest areas to lock in the moisture.
