Try a different fast drying mascara. also, apply it differently. run the mascara brush through your lashes back and forth going upward.

Get a better mascara, would be my suggestion. Try one with short, silicone bristles so that it separates your lashes instead of clumps them.

Try a mascara that has a lot of bristles so that it coats each lash instead of clumping them together. one by one and the rocket by maybelline are two of my favorites.

You can use tweezers to seperate them if you feel that you can achieve it without poking yourself in the eye.

There is this eyelash brush that you comb through your eyelashes after you apply mascara to separate the lashes, I have one and it works well.

Wipe off 80% of your mascara brush before applying (use paper towel, toilet paper leaves cotton sometimes) It sounds crazy but it works, gets all the excess off. And sometimes giving your lashes a minute to dry before applying your next coat helps too.
