Hi,

I need some major help, I'm pretty new to lipstick but I know what I'm looking for.
I urgently need a matte deep red lipstick that WILL NOT SMUDGE.
(Or feather, so bold edges)
Please can you help me out?
I need brand names and what you think, also, any advice on lipstick like this? Are there any tricks?

Mac lipsticks definitely don't move at all.
Definitely use a lip liner. I believe MAC has a lip primer and I've heard that it definitely does help.
Put it on little by little. Using a lip brush to get into creases and stuff. Then add on a layer after to finish. If you over do on lipstick it will feather out so less is more. You can try setting it with a setting powder ( I always do this with my cheap lipsticks. )
I have one by L'oreal and it doesn't feather out. The NYX and wet n wild ones do especially if you don't know what you're doing.

And go around the edges with concealer to emphasis the bold line. 😊

Kat von d is my favorite everyday red. its a liquid matte lipstick. I put it on at eight in the morning and still looks great at five! with only one touch up.
