A simple resolution for me was "soft lips" my lips were super chapped for like months because of the weather. And the first day I bought it. By the end of the day the dead skin was actually coming off. Hope it works for you. :)

Fresh Sugar lip treatment is my favorite balm ever. Nothing else moisturizes as well for me. It's expensive but I love it and think its worth every penny of its $22.50 price lol. Also using a lip scrub will help. I like the one from Elf, for $3 it's quite impressive how good it is. I also like Lush lip scrubs. They're around $6-7 but I think that's reasonable when there are others out there priced at $20. You can make your own but those are the ones I buy because I'm not fond of making my own personally lol. The pre-made ones work better for me.

You can get a lip exfoliater (I like Mary Kay), use a sugar scrub (sugar/vaseline mix), or buy a new tooth brush and use it only for your lips so as to not cross contaminate or anything and just do it whenever you brush your teeth, once to twice a day or every other day, however often you need. As for what to use to moisturize I am IN LOVE with bath and body works lip line. They have 2 in particular that are my favorite. Ill post pictures of them for you :) my lips are the same exact way. they crack and get so painful sometimes so I feel you girl! This regime by no means needs to break the bank. you can keep it as simple as a toothbrush to exfoliate, vaseline to moisturize, and a plain fragrance free chapstick to carry with you for when youre out and about. :)

Oh, btw, never put on super thick layers of chapstick. it doesn't help and only makes your lips feel heavy and look it too! For lip balms to be effective they have to be applied to clean and fresh skin. Continuously applying balm to dead skin doesn't really make a difference. So if its been a while since your lips were "naked" take a tissue to them before applying another layer of chapstick.

Get Vaseline or a really thick lip cream or something and apply it to your lips heavily overnight.

Has anyone tried the reve de miel? I have super chapped lips as well. The nivea lip butter in tin cans did an awesome job but I wanna try something else.
