Full coverage, long lasting foundation?

I'm looking for a good, maybe inexpensive, foundation. I'm currently using the 3 in 1 from covergirl, I love it, but when I get home from school it looks like it has faded a bit and I can see the dark circles under my eyes and I use concealer too. I just want a full coverage, long lasting foundation that'll stay looking fresh all day.

Do you use primer before you apply foundation? It allows makeup to stay on all day.

I use somewhat a primer, the benefit porefessional even though it's not technically a primer, I don't know what good primers there is for combo more oily skin.
