I use a dry shampoo and smother. Maybe that is because of cold weather. If it is really bad you can straight it for that "no frizzy" look.

My hair is the exact opposite of yours because it is very thin, but I know that getting layers thins out your hair, if you want to get a haircut.

My hair used to be sooooo thick like gawsh it was horrible to deal with it and I have naturally curly hair so it was a disaster so I decided to cut it up to my shoulders and made a bunch of choppy layers my hair dresser thinned it too it actually helped a lot and I usually add Moroccan oil or argan oil to help if I have dry or frizzyness one day hope I could help

I second Biolage, they're a bit expensive but not overly. The products are definitely worth it.
