I have oily hair and have to wash it every single morning, and I hear you should only wash it a couple times a week. Dry shampoo the next day doesn't work. Anything I can use to stop my hair from getting oily?

Two things. One: if you have to wash your hair every day, wash it. Just use shampoo and conditioner that don't strip it. Two: oil dissolves oil, so try a shampoo and conditioner like Organix Tea Tree line, and use only shampoo on your scalp, and condition from the ears down.

My hair used to need to be washed everyday or it was too oil to live with. Your hair needs time to adjust just like anything else so if you have a few days where you can avoid washing it and just throw it up on your head then do it. Eventually your hair will adjust itself and not produce so much oil. It's not super great for your hair to be washed everyday. Especially if you aren't using an organic shampoo without sulfates and alcohols.

I used baby powder until my hair got use to it, it worked great for me you just have to rub it in really well. I always put it in and then give myself a scalp massage. I only wash my hair once a week and I haven't had rouse baby powder in almost a year, it took awhile for my hair to adjust tho so just be patient =)
