I have really fair and dry skin. Nothing that I've tried matches my skin tone or gives me that flawless look. Everything just makes my skin look patchy. What should I use??

What skin tone and type of coverage you want?

It depends on if you have warm undertones or cool undertones. For example when you wear clothes, do you look better in dark purple or lavendar purple? dark blues or light blue? reddish brown, tan, dark brown? what color are your eyes and do you have freckles?

Have you tried using bb cream instead of foundation?

I want all around coverage to help cover the red and pinkish tones I have on my face due to my fair skin. I also use a neosporin moisturizer and a primer before applying my Maybelline foundation and then using a pressed matte powder by Rommel London. But I'll definitely try exfoliating my skin.

Yes I have freckles and I have hazel eyes. I tend to look better in dark greens, blues, and purples.

This is a better way of finding your basic undertone.
Look at the inside of your forearms. See the veins there? If they look more blue, you're probably cool undertones. If you see green veins, you're warm. So, blue veins = cool skin, green veins = warm skin. If you can't tell whether they're blue or green your probably neutral.
It's better to do this is natural sun light.
(This is optional may or may not help. It has been said to be incorrect but I don't know maybe it can help someone) Also if you wear more or look better in silver jewelry your more cool. If you wear more gold then warm. If you look good in both your probably neutral.
Your wanting to cover the redness in your skin? Try a color correcting primer.
