Are most facial products just for acne..or do they just clean your face? I rarely ever get acne, but I still want to take care of my face...

Both. It depends on the product and what it does. Lots of products do different things.

I like Cerave. Acne face products have ingredients to fight acne. Not all face washes do

If a cleanser has salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide, it's usually for acne.

No, not all facial products are for acne. Also, if you say you rarely get acne then I highly doubt you actually have "acne". You would just have random breakouts which is totally different from acne. Most acne cleansers contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid which aren't very good for your skin. It does help fight acne but it can also disrupt the skins cell renewal system and chemicals like benzoyl peroxide contain bleaching properties. For everyday use I highly recommend Simple Skincare products. If you want to thoroughly clean your face then invest in a toner. Simple Skincare offers a good one or you can try using pure witch hazel.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is what products to get that do not have those chemicals in it. I just want healthy/glowing skin:)
