St tropez, million dollar tan and any of the fake bake (my fav is the 60 min one) are all really nice green based tans. st tropez goes on smelling nice but after it starts to develop smells like a fake tan whereas million dollar tan doesn't ever get that smell it is also darker than st tropez (even the dark st tropez) which could be good or bad. the fake bake 60 min is nice because it develops in an hour for a little glow or wait 2 hours for darker color or let fully develop before showering so you can fully control color without being blotch. because it actually wants you to hop in the shower after it does really good with natural fading. not blotchy like sometimes happens after showering with fake tans. Honestly green based is the way to go because it will save you from turning orange although they are more expensive than the average normal orange based tans.
If however your not sure on taking the plunge in expensive fake tanning the best drug store tan in my opinion is the l'oreal subline mousse. the mousse is brand new and actually pretty impressive. no matter what you choose I would suggest using a mitt or some other applicators to save your palms.
