That happened to me in august. If its bleeding keep it covered during the day to prevent infections. But make sure you let the nail breath. Don't paint it when it starts to grow back don't add any nail growth stuff to it, just leave it clean and keep the finger itself dry. My nail grew back in about two months. Its painful and annoying. I actually went to the hospital for it because I was in so much pain and they gave me antibiotics and some pain medicine lmao. ( no joke ) I'm a big baby. It happened to my thumb. Stay away from tips until it grows back believe me it will be worth it
