I don't use any heat on my hair AT ALL. My hair is pretty long and thick so whenever I wash it, it takes like 3-5 hours to air dry! Are there any ways I could speed up this process without using heat?

Towel dry as much as possible and have a fan or air conditioner pumping air in the room you're in :)

I lay down on a pillow for a while, that absorbs a lot of the water from my hair. I also wash my hair at night, for the most part.

If your hair is retaining that much water that the process of air drying your hair takes forever, it means your hair lacks moisture and hydration, simple solution: use a hydrating cream on your hair after you have washed it, or you can use hydrating shampoo and conditioner that you can purchase from a local professional salon.

There's a hairbrush with towel-like microfibers.. It's basically a towel in a brush, it's by Goody.

That brush is amazing!! I recieved it in an influencester box, I have a lot of hair that also takes eons to dry. I believe its designed to be used in conjunction with a hair dryer, but it works pretty well when I don't use heat, just not as good, obviously. Just be sure to clean the brush of any fallen hair because it gets kinda nasty quickly.

Do not rub your wet hair with your towel because rubbing can damage hair and could result in heavy hair loss. It can also lead to frizzy dryness that can also do lots of damage. So wrap a towel around your hair and hold it for a few minutes.

You have semi-dried your hair. Now, divide your hair into the some sections using some hair clips. Then start blowing at the top root of your hair and carefully keep up distance from blowing machine (6 inch). You may safely dry your hair in this way.

Use a microfiber towel I got one called a turbie twist and it really cuts down on my natural drying time.

I have pretty short hair, but I have tons of it, so it takes about 8 hours to dry completely... if I'm lucky! I damage my hair with bleaching, so I try not to use any heat on my hair when I can avoid it. I will let it air dry without touching it, if I have nothing to do all day =/ But that's not often the case, so I "finger dry it" where you kind of lightly toussel your hair with your fingers and separate the strands, and it really speeds up the air drying process. I will sometimes use a heat protectant and dry my hair on the "cold" setting on my hair dryer. I will let my hair air dry over night by washing it before bed. Sometimes its not completely dry in the morning, so I use the other methods to get the last bits of wet hair. If its warm outside and I have a little time to kill, I'll usually take a drive with all of my windows down on bigger roads so I can drive fast and have the air blowing my hair dry hahaha, its fun and it works, but it isn't always convenient.
