I have a LOT of fine, strong hair thats medium length but because its fine hair its very flat and lifeless at the top, any tips, products or hair styles that'll make my hair pretty?? Haha I use mousse and John Frieda luxurious volume blow dry lotion and blow dry my hair upside down but it doesn't really do much :/

You just want to avoid products that will weigh your hair down like waxes and silicones :)

Thanks girls. I think I'll just cut it up short again, even with backcombing it has no life.

1) After straightening hair and applying a frizz serum I spray all of my hair (not a lot, just lightly) with Herbal Essences Volume Hairspray (aerosol; purple bottle), then I lift up my top layers and spray underneath... If that makes sense
2) I then start teasing with a teasing comb (has bristles and works so much better than just a rattail comb, bought it at sally's) I start teasing all of the sections really fast, spray with 'pump' hairspray (Herbal Essences Set Me Up, bluish bottle) spray once and then tease some more.
4) Smooth out and spray the aersol volume hairspray again everywhere, and then spray with the 'pump' hairspray onto fingers and smooth out and little flyways

Lisa, where do you get the powder? I've tried looking for that same one at walmart but I haven't been able to find it.
