I have a LOT of fine, strong hair thats medium length but because its fine hair its very flat and lifeless at the top, any tips, products or hair styles that'll make my hair pretty?? Haha I use mousse and John Frieda luxurious volume blow dry lotion and blow dry my hair upside down but it doesn't really do much :/

You just want to avoid products that will weigh your hair down like waxes and silicones :)

Its not just all about the product you are using. I have very thick hair but I have very short layers that are thinned out so I have tons of volume. So I would really recommend getting some layers similar to this picture, tell them you really want more body. Also I have better volume when I wash my hair in the morning and blowdry hair upside down. You could also use one of those rolly brushes lol. As far as shampoo's I highly recommend Salma Hayek's Volume Shampoo and Conditioner (apply conditioner on the bottom and slowly work to the top) and L'Oreal Sulfate Free Ever Volume Shampoo is pretty good too. For styling I really like Nexxus Volume Mouse. But most of getting good volume is getting short layers and thinned out, I have shorter layers than the girl in this picture...

Thanks girls. I think I'll just cut it up short again, even with backcombing it has no life.

As far as back combing/teasing I also love got2b volumizing powder, works great but only use a tinnnnnyyy bit because it gets waxy. This is my teasing routine lol
1) After straightening hair and applying a frizz serum I spray all of my hair (not a lot, just lightly) with Herbal Essences Volume Hairspray (aerosol; purple bottle), then I lift up my top layers and spray underneath... If that makes sense
2) I then start teasing with a teasing comb (has bristles and works so much better than just a rattail comb, bought it at sally's) I start teasing all of the sections really fast, spray with 'pump' hairspray (Herbal Essences Set Me Up, bluish bottle) spray once and then tease some more.
4) Smooth out and spray the aersol volume hairspray again everywhere, and then spray with the 'pump' hairspray onto fingers and smooth out and little flyways

Lisa, where do you get the powder? I've tried looking for that same one at walmart but I haven't been able to find it.
