I dye my hair red at least once a month, I use a heating iron constantly as well as a curling iron. is there anyway to repair my hair or is getting my ends cut off the only option.

Nothing will repair split ends. the longer you leave it the more you'll have to cut off.

I don't even know what a heat protector is )))):

That's what I thought. when I cut it, should I just leave it natural all the time until it grows long.

I'd recommend just getting it cut.! It sucks cutting your hair but in the long run it will be better. Try using less heat as well!

I heat protectant is something you spray in your hair before you use heat on it tresseme has one just look for a spray bottle and it should've labeled.

A heat protectant spray or oil. I like It's a 10. can be found at target or probably any drugstore. you put it in your hair before using heat. definitely use as little heat as possible, though :)

You can't get rid of split ends without chopping them off. maybe try a good shampoo? I use loreal total repair five, it repairs the damage. also a heat protectant is a MUST. especially if youre using that much heat. you spray it on before using heat, tresseme makes a good one. Also, I would suggest argan oil to put in your hair everyday, I use garniers argan oil.

Well you'll have to get the fried, split ends chopped off, like Mikayla has said. there's really no way to repair those.
I would recommend making sure you're buying the right shampoo for your hair, & to splurge a little & buy salon brand stuff. makes a HUGE difference. L'oreal's Power Moisture Mask, which is a deep conditioner, is really really good. you leave it in for 3-5mins & it leaves your hair super duper soft. I usually condition my hair with my regular conditioner after as well.
heat protector is great, but get an oil version for things like straightening & curling. the sprays really only protect against blow dryers, unless you wait a while for the spray to completely dry before styling.

Ohh, I forgot to mention, some good split end preventing products are Redken's Anti Snap leave in serum & Bed Head's Split End Repair leave-in conditioner (:

The easiest way to make your hair grow faster is to keep it healthy. Don't mistake me, the rate at which your hair grows is determined by genetics, and nothing you can do will make your hair grow faster than it naturally would at its healthiest.
First, trim your split ends. If you don't, they will keep splitting up the shaft and ruin even more of your hair.
Second, invest in a sulfate and sodium chloride free shampoo and conditioner (I like the L'oreal EverStrong), and a hair mask or deep conditioner (I like Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and the L'oreal Power Moisture Mask). In the shower, wash your hair first thing, shampoo only the roots and condition from your ears down. After that, apply your mask, focusing on the ends of your hair. Finger comb until you don't feel any knots, and then put your hair in a bun. Leave it that way for the rest of your shower, washing it out should be the last thing you do. I wash my hair around 3 times a week (with dry hair I can get away with it) and do the hair mask every time. If you need to wash your hair more than that, reduce your hair mask usage to 3 times :)
Third, in terms of heat protectors, I like the Tressemme and It's a 10 Leave in Plus Keratin. However, I advise you to cut out heat styling as much as possible.
That's my hair routine, my entire head is bleached and it is just as healthy as it was before I dyed it.

There are easy ways of getting around having great hair with the use of heat...for one if youre worried about using so much heat in your hair in stead of curling it with a flat iron you can use flexi rods. Not only will they give you beautiful curls but they will save you plenty of time in the morning and you can style your hair many different ways with them. They really are heaven trust me. Also if you want it straight just wrap your hair versus flat ironing it. Wrapping your hair at night cuts down on tangles and keeps your hair straight and beautiful when you take it down in the morning. Trading out these techniques with frying your hair with heat will really really make your hair healthier. Lastly I would get it trimmed just to cut off what dead hair you already have to start off fresh and also invest in a good leave in conditioner. And if you really want to amp up the moisture and health of your hair only wash your hair with conditioner! I know some might think its crazy but its really common and really makes your hair soft and moisturized. Hope this helps girl.

Cut the hair off, there is no repairing it, products that say they do only 'mask' the damage. to get it healthier cut down on the heat and choose a more natural colour so it doesn't need refreshing as much :)

No product will repair split ends, you'll need to get the dredded chop!
I highly recommend puttin away the heating tools and using it just once a week. Explore different ways to style your hair, throw it up or braid it! And if you're blow drying it try using no heat to lowest heat!

And invest in a good heat protecting spray!

Agreed with Hannah. Also it's best to use a leave in conditioner. I use Design-line Keratin leave in conditioner (I bought mines at a salon). It detangles my hair and reduces the breakage. After I use the leave in conditioner, I use the Redkin Diamand Oil (buy at salon or Ulta) to put on the middle shaft of my hair down to my ends. You should invest in the diamond oil. It's expensive yes, but it's AWESOME.

You have to cut the end,an inch every month if you don't want to your hair to look much shorter and its really important to use heat protectant. Also, there's nothing better than coconut oil for really damaged hair, give it a try :)
