Clean it at least twice a day & dry it thoroughly after showers/baths/swimming. I just went to a drugstore & bought Bactine as my cleanser.
as hard as it is, don't play with it. the more you move it around, the longer it takes to heal. but keep in mind, belly piercings take the longest to heal; about 6-12 months. mine took about that long.

I cannot stress enough, PLEASE follow the instructions given by your piercer! Use the exact soap or spray they recommend and clean it as many times a day as they told you to. I've seen soooo many belly button disasters due to laziness (not cleaning it) and not following the piercer's directions.
I had to clean mine two or three times a day with fragrance free anti-bac soap. Then I used the sea salt spray after I cleaned it. Make sure you keep it dry after you clean it with soap and water. Also wait to change it. Mine was 3 months but I waited a little longer to be safe. If you don't think it's ready, don't change it.
And of course, be gentle. Avoid ab workouts until it's not tender. Just be careful! I got mine yanked accidentally which cause a huge problem. It stretched out the hole and it bled for a while. But I took care of it and it healed.
It looks great! Just follow the instructions given to you! Good luck! 💋

My piercer said I can use contact solution to clean mine! I dip a q-tip in contact solution and clean it when I wake up in the morning and when I get out of the shower at night!!

I did dial anti bacteria soap 2 to 3 times a day and didn't touch it till it healed. Don't clean it to much though because that can hurt it to.

I got mine done twice, first time was on my lower somehow it became infected, dried up and next thing I know my piercing is on the floor and I was left with the ugly scar. Got it redone on top at a different shop and it heeled faster and better.

Tea tree oil works for ears, so it should work for bellies as well.

^ don't do that to a fresh belly piercing unless you want it to dry out and get infected.

For the first month you can use a salt-water solution or H2Ocean, then over the course of the second month to finish up the healing process you can use tea tree oil (make sure it is all natural), though it is drying so I usually dilute mine two parts teatree oil and one part water. Separation is natural so you just need to stir or shake it.

I always use hot water with salt in it and use cotton buds with all my piercings twice to three times a day and it has always worked a treat
