This is quite silly,This is a Beauty site with all opinions.One must not make a thread that possibly could ruffle up feathers because of personal opinion and not expect also opinions of other's in return.Now the wording may have been off and that is why the feed back was a bit harsh and in No way does it make all of this right.Now when you say (dark makeup looks Bad) that is not going to be taken lightly on a Beauty site with so many in love with makeup that is just silly.Now another thing is when the word (ignorant) is used that too can start a House burning then it's a back in forth of fuel being spilled over the flames (NOT GOOD) This shouldn't be a debate Now if your talking about application by all means that could be discussed forever but to be on a Beauty site and point out Dark makeup looks bad that's beyond Mind blowing to me especially for this community.I personally Like all makeup and I get you like more Natural makeup that's good and darker makeup is not for you that's good to but is it Bad? No just not your cup of tea, Now lets move on and next time re think how the delivery is next time we all make a thread.

I'm all with Hannah & Symone!
natural makeup is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but they get.. boring.
I don't see what's so wrong with having black shadow or liner or mascara. like the previous girls have mentioned, makeup is an art & there shouldn't be any "you should do this & not that", kinda thing. dramatic looks are probably my favorite (:
not meant for everyday, but absolutely beautiful!

I think that both less & more makeup look good. But it also depends on the person. I see nothibg wrong with dark smokey eyes, thick liner, etc. Its sexy. & no offense but have the girls you posted don't even look like they have makeup & in my opinion look super plain/boring.

Thank you Kitty :) Now I also want to point out that Natural makeup is Not boring it's just as Beautiful,lets not stir the pot ladies LETS MOVE ON! Makeup is Art but yet we still have to have skill to sell the painting lol Stay Beautiful and close to classy, Please!

I agree with Nala...I prefer natural makeup because that's what makes me feel the most comfortable and most like myself. That being said, I have nothing against the ladies who rock a bolder look. It's a form of expression, and someone else's makeup preferences are none of my concern. I admire and respect all of the creative looks I see on here. It's not my place - or yours - to judge someone for having a different taste or opinion.

If everyone only shared natural/neutral looks, this would be a very dull forum... I find neutral makeup quite boring, and would rather see unique and colorful dramatic looks. It gives me inspiration and new things to try. Let's face it, there's only so many ways you can experiment with neutral makeup. I don't like being stuck in a rut.

If someone told me that I look bad because I am wearing too "wild" makeup, I would probably come right back and call them a fuddy duddy for their "no makeup" makeup. ;)

Wear what makes YOU happy. Makeup is to make YOU feel pretty nobody else, my bf hates my black eyeliner but, I do it for me it's what I like :) and for anyone who doesn't like how I look that's their problem cause I look fabulous with or without makeup. Confidence is key :)

I agree with Symone wholeheartedly here. It isn't okay to judge how someone else does their makeup. Most days I'm ready to scream and rant about how utterly sick I am of being bombarded with this idea of "naked" this and "no makeup makeup" that and "natural, neutral, wearable" BLAH!! It's everywhere now. But I don't say that someone who does neutral eyes looks "bad" or "boring" because it doesn't suit my taste. Makeup is a personal expression and the only person's opinion that matters is the person wearing it. I hope I didn't come off mean but I honestly am just about fed up with this close-minded "BB cream and tinted lip balm" attitude that I seem to see everywhere. If you're comfortable with that then that's perfectly fine but don't oppress people for not aligning with that and for wearing more. I'm just generally speaking, not talking to anyone specifically so please don't anyone take it personally lol. These are just my feelings on the whole overall issue of neutral makeup.
