My hair is becoming dry and heat damaged. I decided I would use less heat, but are there any homemade masks or deep conditioners that can help my hair be less dry and stuff? Only problem is I don't have any oils at my house besides vegetable oil and I'm pretty sure that I can't use that. And I can't go out and buy other oils because I'm snowed in and I don't have any money.

What you want are things with protein, like eggs. Try an egg and olive oil mask (if you have olive oil?) if not just try eggs; avocados also work well.

Honey for moisture and coconut milk to soften your hair works REALLY well if left on for an hour+, and wash out with a normal conditioner, not shampoo (: x
