Nope. Only see the contouring madness on here. If I say 'oh so do you contour' in person people are like and wtf is that who even has time for that??

I also do a light contour. But, If other people notice that I've contoured, then its too much for my personal taste. And if I'm in a hurry, contouring is the 1st thing that gets eliminated from my routine. Its not an absolute must for me.

Lol okay fine but on here everyone's all about it, you know?

I like how contouring can change the appearance of your facial structure. I have practiced it some and I plan to do it for prom this year most likely and just any other special occasion. Definitely not for an everyday look though.

This is what I was saying the other day about brows. Brows are super hyped and trendy nowadays and so is contouring!
I don't wear makeup everyday but if foundation is going on my face, I'm also highlighting and contouring. No ifs ands or buts.
I usually do subtle contouring, but I actually like it really dramatic and I would wear that on a daily basis if I felt like waking up that early. It's all about personal preference.

Tinted moisturizer or powder foundation are high maintenance enough for me, I don't need to spend extra time on more complicated face makeup. At most I'll add a little highlighter in a couple places, but that's about it. I find when I do contour, its not even noticeable and if I did any "more," it would look absolutely ridiculous... so I just don't waste my time. I find a lot of people I know, contour incorrectly (too much product, using bronzer, ill placement, ect). I do like it (when done correctly) on other people, especially in photographs or dark lighting (night looks, going out looks, ect), but for every day, I think its a bit much on the average person. Otherwise subtlety is key. I just can't be bothered with sculpting products, blush, or bronzer.

I don't, I like to keep it as natural as possible.

Its definitely a hype where I am.. I see a lot of people tryng it. also on pinterest, beauty blogs, tumblr, youtube, its not just beautylish.

It's all the hype where I'm from too. I don't really have a strong opinion either way. I think its crazy how placement of certain products can change/enhance the look of your face. I do try it when I'm just at home playing with makeup but I don't do it on a daily basis. not necessarily because of time or anything I wear blush every day and for day to day wear I don't see it necessary. I honestly think the hype will wear off to the general public (not mua or beauty lovers)
lili the comment about you and your dog cracked me up!

Fyi: A lot of girls really feel the need to contour if they wear full coverage foundation, due to the fact that full coverage foundation has a tendency to wipe out all dimension to the face and give you a mask-like appearance. Just a thought.

I definitely don't have time to contour my face everyday for school. I need my sleep lol I would probably only contour when I go out somewhere.

I do it everyday. Makes my face look slimmer. :)

I'm losing weight (albeit extremely slowly) but if my face was meant to have defined cheek bones, I'd have them. I don't understand why people think they have to look like what they're Not. Not everyone has to have a chiseled jaw, small nose and chin, high cheekbones. If you have that great. But if you don't, that's great too! If you got rosy cheeky why try to cover that and force something that's not there. People always say, I have a round face like it's a bad thing! Round is beautiful, too!! Slim and defined is not more beautiful than soft and round! Love yourself for you!
(Excuse my mini rant)

I love it for when dramatic looks but definitely not for everyday. But I like doing it lightly, not as much as Kim K does though

My opinion is only contour what SHOULD be contoured if you want a everyday look. My nose is a bit big for my taste for I contour is slightly :)
But its the persons preference and choice!

I'm obsessed with it but way before the whole craze hahah. I contour lightly-medium everyday. it takes me 1 min tops. also I'm very pale and wear foundation so I like to create a glow. I only contour a lot and highlight for special events.
