No makeup line is going to be 100% natural. certain ingredients must be added to cosmetics to protect the integrity of the product. if makeup didnt have things like preservatives and emulsifiers in them, your makeup would spoil within days (that could get expensive). just because something sounds "chemically" doesn't necessarily mean its bad.

I agree with Kenzie. There's no such thing as "organic" or "natural" makeup. Chemicals get a bad rap for no good reason these days. People see the word chemical or some longer word they don't understand or can't pronounce and assume its bad for them when it isn't. Even natural ingredients have a chemical name so you may not recognize something natural like shea butter, for example, if they were to list it by it's chemical name. It doesn't change that it's still a natural ingredient though. But even chemicals are derived from natural origins, they occur naturally in the world. They just have different uses. Just about everything in the world of makeup is going to have chemicals of some kind in it. If it didn't you would basically be rubbing dirt on your face if you really wanted truly all natural makeup lol. So even if there are chemicals in makeup they are not necessarily bad. You can have sensitivities to some though, but that also can be said for natural ingredients as well.
With all that said, you should try to find out what ingredient it is in your makeup that you're sensitive to. Chemicals are not always bad but some of them will not agree with everyone. I would look at each ingredient and search it on Google, learn what it is and what it's used for and then slowly try to find products that don't have some of those ingredients and see if it improves. That's a lot of work, I know. But if you have acne at other times it could just be that. Even the most natural of makeup can irritate acne and acne is a very complex ailment that doctors and scientists still don't fully understand.
All of THAT being said, I will recommend Tarte because they are a good brand. I wouldn't say they are 100% natural since that doesn't actually exist, but they do use good ingredients and leave out some that can be irritating.

Jane Iredale cosmetics. I agree wholeheartldely with Caitlin and Kenzie. Everyone falls for the language "all natural" but from my personal experience sometimes all natural doesn't mean superior. I had to give away my Tarte blush collection becaus it contained a chemical that I'm allergic to. My cheeks would look and feel slighted irritated if I used on a daily basis. Its all about being aware and educating self about ingredients and what their role (s) are.
