Help! How do I pick out a foundation that matches my skin color? starting to learn how to do my own makeup and I never used it before or blush. Tips would help 😊

Find your basic undertone and match the foundation to your neck.
It's best to do this in natural sunlight.
Look at the inside of your forearms. See the veins there? If they look more blue, you're probably cool undertones. If you see green veins, you're warm. So, blue veins = cool skin, green veins = warm skin. If you can't tell whether they're blue or green your probably neutral.
(This is optional may or may not help. It has been said to be incorrect but I don't know maybe it can help someone) Also if you wear more or look better in silver jewelry your more cool. If you wear more gold then warm. If you look good in both your probably neutral.

BB Creams are a great alternative if you already have good skin, & it looks like you do! My favorite drugstore one is the Covergirl Smoothers BB Cream and for high end I like the Urban Decay Naked Skin :)

To get another good gauge of whether you've got cool or warm undertones is to put silver and yellow gold jewellery next to your skin. Silver looks better on cool undertone and Gold on warm x
