So I bought this colour corrector the other day, & I'm quite pleased with it, especially since it's from a brand that I've never heard of.. Quo.
I've gotten great use out of it, however, I don't know how to use the purple one. it says it's to correct shallowness, but what is shallowness? :/ what does it look like?? lol.
I'm lost... thanks ladies! xx

They mean SALLOWNESS. That's when skin has yellow to olive undertones.

Usually used to brighten up a dull complexion.

I think it helps with yellowing skin tone if that makes any sense.

I think you mean sallowness? Which is basically dull skin with a yellow complexion. Purple and yellow are opposite on the color wheel, so it will correct sallowness.

Where did you get it?

Ohh xD
I feel dumb. that makes more sense. I guess it does say 'sallow' on the back.. I swore every time I read it I saw 'shallow'. I should get my eyes checked, lolol.

Haha, I think you mean "sallowness", it's just when you have yellowish skin spots or something.

Whoops! I totally wouldn't have answered that if I'd known other people did like forever ago. My phone was showing this as a new post, I guess it's not updating. Sorry girl 😞

Quo is a pretty good brand, it is Shoppers Drugmart brand of beauty products. Stay away from their nail polish though, it sucks lol.

How would you use that type of palette? Just apply the proper color on your skin before foundation... After primer? Are they light in color or heavy?

Lol, thanks so much ladies <3
@Monique, I just use my fingers. colour corrector goes on after primer but before foundation. I rub my finger in a circular motion on the colour I need & then apply it to wherever I need correcting. they're fairly light in colour, but I can notice a difference when I use it & when I don't.
