It's just a name! I know it's quite annoying, my names Dimphy and you can also change that into stupid things but I also don't care. Somehow I like the fact that it's original but anyhow, don't worry girl :)

It's a pretty name! my name was Holly Kathleen and I hated it with a vengeance, I ended up changing it a few years ago by deed poll to Holly Isabella and although I'm used to being Holly Isabella I kind of feel like I'm under a stage name half of the time :/

I like the name Katrina. Honestly Katie is TOO common (nickname wise). I don't know why people would laugh about it...a lot of people have the same name as you if you think about it.

That's an awesome name. I feel your pain though. I hated my real name which is Guinevere. And whenever attendance is called the substitute either say I can't say this or Genevieve and quinnevere

What's wrong with our name? The people you know sound a little weird, I've never been teased for being called Caitriona (Katrina, Catriona whatever spelling). I always wanted mine to be spelt like yours though :)

Katrina or Katie doesn't change who you are both fabulous names for a fabulous person I have 3 different names my mom wanted my name to be anabelle with one n the birth certificate people ended up putting Annabella on my birth certificate and then my health card says Annabelle no a and then at school I use anabelle ahaha
