My hair is curly and I've heard sulfate free shampoos can help make my hair less frizzy, dry and tangled. Is this true? If so, what are some of the best INEXPENSIVE products to use? Thanks :o)

My hair is curly too (ignore my profile picture). All the products Ive used that have damaged my hair all had sulfate in them. The brands that I currenty use are Garnier, Suave, and Shea Moustire All three of them are great on my hair and are sulfate free. So from my experiences, this is true.

As I Am Coconut Cowash is sulfate and suds free. I use it and it has great slip so detangling is a dream!! At Sallys Beauty Supply you can get it for $7.99 and when they have it on sale for even less I stock up big time.

Shea Moisture line is great, as well as the L'oreal conditioning cleanser. You can also try to "Co-wash" your hair (washing yoyr hair with a conditioner insteade of a sulfate shampoo. I have had success co washing with Herbal Essense conditioners, and Trader Joe's Tea Tree oil conditioner.

I really like the Organix line, you can also try the L'Oreal everpure line which is sulfate free. I bought Shea Moisture recently can't wait to give it a try! Most shampoos and conditioners that are sulfate free will mention that they are sulfate free on the bottle. (:

Peter Lamas from whole foods is an amazing shampoo and conditioner. It's mainly organic and helps rid of any build up you have on your hair. It also helps to stimulate your hair for healthy hair growth. :3
