What color & style for my hair?

I'm loving this short hair but it's grown too shaggy in the last month or so. I like it off my neck and out of my face but I have no clue as to how to get it cut and style it. This is how it looks air dried (I usually straighten it).

Also, I bleached it during the summer (terrible idea) and I need some ideas for color to get it looking right again without killing my hair.

I suggest dyeing it black(try getting a crappy permenant one from Target that will fade- but will look really pretty. If I remember the brand I got I'll tell you). Then just brush it back and let it flow. If your hair is damaged I suggest washing it everyday, and make sure you're doing it right. Periodically through the day you can brush it back with your hand, or use a mousse in the morning to keep it from getting too flat. Because you're hair looks wave-y, I think a natural look would be beautiful on you. Hope this helped!!

@tia I'm kinda scared to go black with the bleached hair. Won't it turn a funky color?
When I brush my hair back I look a bit like a blond Elvis lol. I had reservations about cutting it this short because of my wavy hair and I was worried it would look like this. I love it being short but I'm not sure how good it really looks on me. (Can't tell if I'm just being my worst critic or not lol)

@melissa that's what my mom keeps telling me. How do you dye your hair darker after you've bleached it? I don't want to end up with gray hair and I can't afford the salon right now lol

to avoid the least damage i would dye it to the closest color of your natural hair. dont wash it every day unless you use a sulfate free shampoo. otherwise it strips the oils of your hair. deep treat it and try nexxuss or garneirs split end therapy/ mender. styling it depends on your own personal choice. a longer girlier pixie cut may work.:-)

Thanks everybody! I found a cosmetology school nearby that need people to practice on so I think I'll give them a chance :)
I'm definitely going to have them trim it back a bit and fix this color. Best part is, it'll only cost me about 40 bucks!!

I would cut off the dyed hair and start with your virgin color so there is no line of demarcation. your so close why not and then the stylist can find a good color for your natural pigments and skin tone
