Hair Bleach, Help!

I wanna dye my hair a whole new different color! (ombre)
But for sure I know I have to bleach it! I have never done that!
I don't have split ends, my hair is really really healthy, and I love the way it feels right now. I don't use heat or blow dry because I have nothing to do.. lol
But yea what do you guys think?
What will the bleach do to my hair?

If you bleach treat the hair before hand your hair will get less damaged this way.

The bleach will make the ends break and do at least some damage. You can try using a lower volume developer to reduce the possibility of damage, but the bottom line is that bleach isn't good for your hair.

Bleaching is the only way to lighten your hair other ways are the lemon juice way but it doesn't really work

Bleach will lessen the condition of your hair. Whether it gets dry or even break off (since your hair is healthy, the negatives shouldn't be too bad.) it's your job to give it extra TLC after bleaching to get it in good condition again. With no heat, hair masks, deep conditioning, etc. Another way to lighten your hair is to lighten with 40 vol developer. I've done it before plenty times. It doesn't get the hair blonde but a light brown. It's less harsh but it takes longer to lift.
