Which would be better?

I only wear eye makeup. I've been wanting to get something to even out my skin. I don't want/need anything heavy. Would it be better to get a tinted moisturizer, BB Cream, powder, or foundation. I have combination skin and don't want anything too pricey. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is there a certain kind I should get? I hear there are tons of different ones.

It honestly depends on the coverage you need. If it's just a spot or two (like blemishes) I'd suggest sticking to concealing those little buggers. I don't know too much about bb cream (from what I've seen it's basically overhyped tinted moisturizer), so sorry I'm no help there. I've used Tarte's Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Tinted Moisturizer, but I believe they've since changed the name to Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer (how ironic). It's pretty pricey at $36, but it works like a dream; you just have to be careful not to apply too much or it'll become an uncomfortable oil slick on your face. I use foundation, which comes in three different coverages- light, medium, or full. Some foundations offer buildable coverage, so it'll be light-medium coverage or medium-full coverage; you just have to do a bit of research to ensure you're getting the coverage you want. I use an airbrush system- xsparkage should still have codes up to get them for suuuper cheap, but in case her codes are expired I'd check out lilpumpkinpie05 for some coupon codes- and I find that offers every kind of coverage depending on how much makeup you put in the machine itself. I've been able to achieve very minimal and very high coverage, which is great if your skin can be a bit unpredictable. If you prefer a traditional foundation, try checking out Neautrogena's Healthy Skin- it won't dry out your dry spots or make your oily spots too oily. You may have to use some blotting papers where you get oily, but I find I have to do that with any foundation I use. Powder foundation may not be the best option because of those dry spots you get, but a translucent powder to set your foundation (especially on those oilier areas) would be a good bet.

If you don't like anything heavy liquids won't the best foundation for you I would get powder and I would get bare minerals it is very light and you only have to use so little.

That sounds like what I need. I don't have to cover anything up but I want to give my face sort of a dewy look.

Yeah you would love powder if you already have clear skin using less makeup is better if you wear to much coverage you will eventually break out

Yeah. Would powder be easy to work with. (I've never done any face stuff before)

Yes very easy foundation has more work because you have to blend soo well powder you can just apply right on but!!.. make sure you wash your brush weekly or else all the makeup and dirt builds up on your brush and when you apply it on your face you will get acne.
