A good face wash, if you have flawless skin you won't need as much foundation

I think skincare is the most important. I'm learning that the hard way. Makeup expires and products are fleeting. But we are responsible for our skin forever. We must take care of it. The best decision I've made for my skin so far is the clairsonic. I see improvements in only a week

I just feel like I can never find products to.cover my freckles so I don't get that flawless finish I want. I have normal to dry skin.

Face wash & moisturizer, if your skin isn't good on the bottom foundation isn't going to look good on top =/ skin care first :)

What do you use to cover up your freckles, mikayla? Just curious.

Right now I use neutrogena healthy skin peimer, then Revlon colorstay whipped foundation, and setting powder. I would use concealer but if I use to much product under my eye I just get terrible crease.

I think it all depends on your skin. If you have a very complex skin type, a high-end foundation might be necessary. If you don't have very hard skin to shop for, maybe invest in some nice skin care to keep your skin nice. One of my favorite skin care brands is Yes To, which is available at the drugstore, so I would go for some of their products. I also would say to splurge on high end eyeshadow and lippies, but that's just me.

For me it'd have to be skin care. I have dry/combo skin (my nose and center bit of my forehead are such a pain) so I'd rather not have dry, flakey, tight-feeling skin. I mean, if you have great skin then you won't need much to cover up with anyway, so it's killing two birds with one stone.

I agree with Symone 100%.
it really won't matter what makeup you use if the canvas you put it on isn't taken care of.

Oh or filling in eyebrows; don't even get me started on how important eyebrows are because I could write a novel on eyebrows.

Agreed with Lauren. I have bad combo skin, and skin care is defiantly first!

I think that no matter how crappy the makeup is if you have amazing brushes out can make it work.
