I really want to get a foundation primer but I am confused as to which ones really work or not. I don't have super dry or super oily skin either, it's just normal I think.

I really like Bh Cosmetics foundation primer..it's clear and feels as if absolutely nothing is on your face and it helps my foundation apply so smooth and flawless. It's about 14 dollars.

Get a smashbox travel size primer. 10$ and one lasts me like 2.5 months :) its a good way to see if you like it or not. The hydrating one is awesome 👌

If you have larger pores or uneven skin try Benefit's pore-fessional. Best primer I've ever bought

Elf has a nice mineral primer which was my fav from a drugstore felt like I had nothing on but made my skin look so smooth, I've tried the magic lumi one I personally like it but if you have oily skin it wouldn't be good for you. I've also tried the hard candy primers, they look good but always break me out the next day.

It depends what you think is affordable...lol. I love the Hourglass veil mineral primer but it's $52 for a full size. But I got the travel size for $18 and I don't think I'll run out anytime soon because one small pump does so much. So that may not be affordable for everyone but considering the quality of it I felt like it was a steal lol. I never even used primer until I got a sample of that one. I'd sampled a few here and there and the Hourglass one was the only one to blow me away enough to where I wanted to have it on hand.
