Hey guys, I've been struggling with dark lips since a young age. The edges of my lips are much darker compared to the centre of my lips. I did not have this problem since birth so I'm unsure how this happened. Does anyone know how to lighten these edges? I did try lemon but that started to burn the edges of my lips as the skin became more sensitive.
Thankyou :)

Apply honey over night every day. Apply all over your lips , let it dry. Don't wash off

I think your lips are really pretty! I would say exfoliate well on your mouth and all around and put on some pretty colored gloss and you have an ombré lip!

I agree with Mary, Mary's are always right lol. But if you want andreaschoice made a video about it on her YouTube Chanel. It should help 😊

You can also use your foundation on your lips the even the tone and put your lip color right over it.

@San, mix baking powder and lemon/lime juice together and gentle massage your lips. This will make your lips lighter and soft. Put some kind of lip care on your lips after!

Thanks @Maaike V I will try that, never thought of baking powder with lemon, hope it won't start to burn the skin, because I once used lemon and that burnt the edges of lips.

@San, oke, so you allready know that your skin is very sensitive...so be very carefull. If this doesn't work, why don't you get a cream witch is suitable for beleaching the skin? Do you have it up there where you live?

@Maaike V yeapp should be able to get that from any local boots store if needed :)

There is no way to lighten up the pigmentation in your lips. Only temporary fixes that give the appearance of lighter lips.Do not...I repeat DO NOT use bleaching cream meant for the face and body on your lips. Its highly toxic and just downright insane. The chemicals in bleaching cream will burn your lips and could result in blistered lips.

@San if the jar tells you that it's not suitable for eyes and lips, don't use it! The products we have in Holland are not the same as in other countries...

Okay thanks @shelley W and @Maaike V
I'll try baking powder with lemon at first. The products would be from the UK, but will definitely double check the product.
