For the face?
It's removing all the dirt from the face during the day

Removing the dead skin cells. Our skin doesn't always say the same our whole life so pieces of thin layer of the skin naturally peels off everyday. To speed up the process and remove it all at once, you use scrubs or chemical peels and other exfoliating products to do so. :)
