Do fiber mascaras really work? Thoughts?

I've tried one and found my lashes looked so much longer but also found that it clumped, which I didn't like.

I use baby powder (: works just as well, I've found.

Yes but they also kind of suck, the fibers tend to flake and peel a bit. They don't really keep the effect for long. Especially for me, since I wear contacts, it was a disaster, because the flakes kept getting into my eyes. They tend to be drier formulas, also, which isn't a huge problem unless your preference is towards non-dry mascaras :)

Try Vaseline. I put that on mine and it looks like I'm wearing mascara.

I agree with Hannah, any fiber mascara I've used gives me length but clumps my lashes horribly and I hate that!
