So, the picture of me blonde in my profile was my before picture. I decided to go a little bit darker, closer to my natural color, but it came out a little darker as you can see in the after picture. The after picture, is how I do my makeup and my hair on a daily basis (or it gets thrown up into a ponytail). I need advice on some new hair and/or makeup ideas. I want to look like I'm 24, my age, not like I'm a little 16 year old high school girl... Lol. :-) any and all advice would be great. Please remember I am a stay at home mommy and need it to be decently simple. Thanks!

I would say go with braids, they are easy and get hair out of your face. Women of all ages are doing this - prob a simple look fish tail to a easy regular braid.

Bangs?

I was thinking of a haircut with the side bangs like this...

I would say cut some long layers and get some movement in your hair! It will look great just to frame your face, but long enough to pull up If you need to!

I too am a stay at home mommy to a newborn. The week after my LO was born I got my hair cut and styled. I did basically what is described above. Long layers to add body and a little volume and added some bangs. It's super easy to style. I have very curly hair but straighten when I go out for dates and things. I've found my shoulder length hair is so much easier to take care of and style! I hope you find something that works for you as well!
