Using a sebum clearing wash. Something with lactic or salicylic acid which helps dry out the sebum under the skin. For really inflamed pimples, don't pop them- you will cause scarring. Just use aloe Vera gel to soothe first then treat later when it isn't infected. Stick to light weight moisturizers

I had a lot of acne at one point and now I don't have any. I don't even need foundation or anything like that.
I prefer natural ways of doing things rather than buying something at the store because it might have bad chemicals.
Here is what I did. I got a cleansing brush and I use that all the time while I'm in the shower. It's the first thing I do. First have the water warm to open up the pores in your skin and then wash with the cleansing brush and the soap you want. Then do what ever else you do to wash yourself. Before you turn off the water though turn it to a cool temperature to close the pores.
I also would take lemon juice and put it only face and let it dry. It helps but can't do it every day because it will dry out your skin and it was also irritate it. If you have sensitive skin I don't think this is the way for you.
Also just recently I cut dairy out of my diet. Has helped getting rid of it has made me feel better. I still get everything I need for my body. Like milk, instead of using dairy milk I replaced it with soymilk. It's a lot healthier. Her is a link I found on the dairy.

Start of w a gentle cleanser don't use any harsh exfoliants it can make matters worse. a good salicylic treatment would be clean and clear oil obsorbing treatment or a benzoyl peroxide try clean and clear persa gel 10. keep your skin moisturized everyday, cerave is a good choice. like shanon said some people have luck w a diet change I know Shelley another beautylish member had great results. I can't comment on it cause I stick to topicals. please stay away from lemon juice though it really won't help and will most likely make matters worse its defiantly not for skin.
