I mean you aren't really " splurging" elf is the most inexpensive make up you can find. But you should get the cream liner. I don't really love anything else from elf

The primer isn't bad. I like their brushes too although some of them do separate but if you just re-glue them with a tough glue they're fine. I wouldn't recommend the makeup setting spray. It smells odd and never really seems to do anything for me. I haven't tried anything other than those products.

I know Elf is cheap. By splurge, I meant buy a whole bunch of products by them. I am repurchasing the brushes. I loved them and they did seperate but I used white elecrtical tape to fix them because it also cushions my fingers while I'm using the brushes.

I would definitely get some studio face brushes, powder brush, angled blush brush & complexion brush. I like there eye brightening quads from the dollar like, you just have to use a primer and a small amount of colored base. I guess it's a tip for any of their eyeshadows, they are not the best but get they get the job done. There studio cream eyeshadows are good too. Also their eyebrow kit is really good.

They're lip products are awesome, they make you're lips super soft and it's good for everyday wear if you want to go more natural because they're colors aren't too bright or dark.

I like their blushes, especially the duo that has the blush and bronzer. I also liked their lashes, not great for re-use but they look nice. OH AND LOVE Daily brush cleaner, LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I love elf :) the eye primer is so good for how cheap it is! the setting spray holds my foundation all day. the tone correcting powder is amazing! and the liquid eye liner dries so fast

When I first discovered E.L.F I went a little mad and purchased a bunch of things. I think the thing that let me down the most was some of their eye shadows really didn't have a lot of pigmentation. I felt like i had to apply it over and over again to get a hint of colour. But for the price, I cant really complain!
I had the same problem with the brushes too, with them breaking. But for personal use they are fine if you just fix them. Client use however, i wouldn't recommend. Their blushes are nice though and their cream and gel eyeliners I LOVE. :) Hope that helped a little bit.

I've seen raves about the new cream blushes that are in the pump bottles, their new baked blushes, as well as the new concealer that look like their tinted moisturizer.

I just purchased the elf blush in pink passion yesterday and I absolutely love it! If your very light complexion like me, it looks really nice! It looks super pink and matted but is not ! Love it!
