I just got told to moisturize instead of prime as well as moisturize,
What's your thoughts on it and what's your favorite brand?

i use Smashbox primer, and yes its very important to use moisturizer every day. Why would you want to skip it? you are asking for chances of skin problems when you skip moisturizer. My advice to you is to find a moisturizer that has a built in primer in it with SPF.
