I'm making a sephora purchase and was wondering what you ladies think I should buy :) I'm already getting the esperanza palette. I was eyeing the becca mattifying primer because my tzone is ridiculous lately. And I was also looking into the cover fx cream foundation, and the hourglass primer. Thoughts??

The only thing I've tried that you posted was the Hourglass Primer. Everyone raves about it but for me personally I wasn't too impressed especially for how expensive it is. It did make my foundation stay on longer since I have oily skin but it didn't do much else. I prefer Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro it was only $6 and I found it kept me more matte throughout the day.

Thank you! I may have to try that and save my money for a really good foundation instead :)

Yes I would definitely recommend spending your money on a good quality foundation instead (: I heard the Cover Fx foundation is amazing.

Make Up Forever foundations are good. Try purchasing makeup brushes. Good quality :)

I've personally tried cover fx. I love it.
It gives full coverage and isn't thick and cakey.
I recommend it to everyone. My only problem is I haven't tanned since it's actually cold in miami -.-' and their colors don't match me so I have to use smashbox for a bit.

I like the hourglass primer, but I don't really have any issues with super visible pores so I don't see much of a difference there, but as a primer I like it a lot. The travel size bottle is $18 and Sephora has a great return policy. Or you could ask an associate for a sample of it so you can try it first and decide if you like it enough to buy :)

Thank you! I think I might try the travel size hourglass and the cover fx foundation. Not sure whether to get the cream, liquid or cc though. They all look like good color matches for me.

The hourglass primer is the only one that keeps me matte the longest! I've tried benefit's porefessional but it made me oily within about 3 hours. Veil mineral keeps me matte through a full 8 hour shift with no touch ups and then some :)
